Upper Falls At Old Man's Cave Trail

This past weekend, we camped at Hocking Hills State Park and throughout the weekend we did several of the trails within the park system. We have been going to Hocking Hills for as long as I can remember, we even went there before I can remember.  It is one of my favorite places because I feel like I have grown up here. I remember hiking these trails and being marveled. I remember playing in the waterfalls with my brother. I have so many memories here, so any time that I get to go I am filled with anticipation.  This trip was no less marvelous than any of the others.

One of the trails that we did was the part of the Buckeye trail section that is the Old Man's Cave section.  The trail is the upper falls portion of the trail.  The day before we did the other section of Old Man's Cave trails.  You can see in the photos the beautiful lower falls as well as what is called the Devil's Bathtub, which are both features on the trail.  Every time I come here I am inspired more and more to through hike the Buckeye trail.  I am absolutely smitten with it, and it is a great way to see my home state of Ohio.
