Crazy Horse Monument

Crazy Horse Monument was the stop on our road trip that I just wasn't as excited about.  I had never heard of it and my Dad was actually the one that added it to the list.  I wasn't excited, until I got there and realized just how amazing it was.  This place is everything that is a testament the history of America that Mount Rushmore tries to be.  It is huge, way bigger than Mount Rushmore, but was way less crowded, which is so unfortunate.  It is also much more historically accurate than the museum at Mount Rushmore.  It brings to light the devastating history of the Americas.  It also has a certain mystery to it in that it is incomplete.  I found it absolutely stunning and moving.  I actually found myself moved to tears when there was a historical reenactment of these historical dances.
