Badlands National Park

One of the first full days or our road trip we went to Badlands National Park. It was so beautiful. I loved the difference in scenery, there was intricate rock work and it was surrounded by these rolling praries. We spent an entire morning in the park. I saw my first prairie dog and bison in the wild and I think that this may have been my favorite part honestly. It was breathtaking. We spent some time at the rim looking out and we also spent time in the prairie. We mostly drove around and stopped when we wanted to. I loved that it wasn’t too crowded and we often found ourselves alone. The sprawling landscapes were what truly amazed me here. I loved it and I can’t wait to visit this park again.
